Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World-, adapted from the Japanese light novel series written by Tappei Nagatsuki and illustrated by Shin'ichiro Otsuka, follows Subaru Natsuki, an ordinary teenager whose life takes a sudden and bizarre turn when he’s transported from a convenience store into a mysterious fantasy realm. With no clue how he got there and nothing but a bag of groceries and his now-useless cell phone, Subaru is immediately attacked by a group of thugs. Things seem grim—until a silver-haired girl named Satella, searching for her stolen insignia, comes to his rescue. Grateful and eager to repay her kindness, Subaru offers to help track down the thief. Their search leads them to the object of Satella’s quest, but just when it seems their journey is nearing its end, an unseen and sinister threat emerges. In a brutal twist, both Subaru and Satella are killed.
But instead of death being the end, Subaru wakes up to find himself back at the very moment he first entered this strange world—facing the same thugs and meeting Satella all over again. As this cycle of life, death, and resurrection continues, Subaru must unravel the mysteries of this world, his newfound power, and the dark forces working against them. With each return, the stakes rise higher, and the question looms: how many times can one boy start over before hope slips away?
